Canadian Traditional Archery Tournament Series (C-TATS)

The Canadian Traditional Archery Tournament Series (C-TATS) is a national competition series created by the Canadian Federation of Mounted Archery (CFMA) to celebrate and promote traditional ground archery across Canada.

Ground archery is the foundation of mounted archery, and the C-TATS provides an exciting pathway for archers of all experience levels. Whether you are just beginning your journey or seeking to compete at a high level, the series offers accessible entry points alongside dynamic speed-shooting and longer-distance challenges that develop precision, consistency, and athletic performance.

Inspired by international traditional archery competition formats and supported by the CFMA's membership in the World Traditional Archery Federation (WTAF), the C-TATS helps connect Canadian archers with the wider international community while creating opportunities to progress toward national and international competition.

The series currently features four disciplines: Canadian Traditional 300 (CT300) Multi-distance Dynamic Archery Speed Trial (DAST) 30 m Zhamby 70 m Puta

The C-TATS encourages friendly competition, skill development, and community while recognizing the achievements of traditional archers from across Canada.
